A small creek runs through the park adding to Creation Park’s charm.

Play area designed so children can have a fun place to play and see the world from a bird’s eye view.

A Northwest shelter was built to encourage families to enjoy the outdoors in all types of weather.

The goal of the park is to lead those who come back to the worship of their Creator.

What can a small church with five acres of pristine property do to bless their community?

This is what the Fork Seventh day Adventist church pondered with their new Pastor Jay Coon in 2021.  After much prayer and discussion, the church settled on setting aside 2 acres for the establishment of Creation Park.  Creation Park is a private park for the Forks community.  With so many visitors coming through Forks and often needles found in the public park, Creation Park provides an alternative for families looking for a quiet picturesque environment.  In 2021 The church contributed 5k and they secured a $10k grant.  First an elk fence was put up around the two-acre park as well as a ½ acre orchard was planted.  The Orchard features 24 fruit trees, 80 blueberry & 10 loganberry bushes.  The next year the church secured a $20k grant for Creation Park.  Today a functional bathroom is provided, a beautiful foot bridge over a small stream and a children’s play area.  Creation Park has several handmade picnic tables and commercial grade grills and firepits.   The Northwest shelter with picnic tables is an added blessing on those rainy days or when the sun is hot.  Forks Seventh-day Adventist Church wants those who join this private park to experience the beauty of the Creator making special memories with their families.
